Westinghouse "Oasis" 48-inch indoor / outdoor 5-blade ceiling fan provides a cool and airy feel to your indoor or outdoor living space with "Whisper-Quiet" operation. Engineered with a durable powder-coated metal finish, rust-proof stainless steel hardware, and ABS resin blades, this ceiling fan will endure damp or wet locations both indoors and outdoors for years to come. The oil rubbed bronze finished base, mahogany finished blades in a tropical leaf design, and yellow alabaster glass bowl add a tropical ambience to any decor. The fan contains a three speed reversible motor and maintenance free double sealed ball bearings. The light fixture uses one 60-watt base bulb. Limited lifetime warranty. Overall, I like the way this looks on my screen porch. The blades are not quite as dark of a mahogany as they are in the pictures. They are made of heavy plastic and the backs of the blades are not painted to match (ugly yellow). If you are placing this fan where you will be able to see the tops of the blades from somewhere, it would destroy the look you were after.

My only other issue is that the paint is very tender and the primer beneath is a different color (ugly yellow again) so you have to be very careful when installing. For the money, I feel this was a good purchase and would buy the same fan again.

I bought two of these fans to use in our sunroom. Unique blade design and cool color is what sold me. Assembly was a snap, easy to hang. I found after I installed them they tend to wobble. It seems worse at lower speeds. Tried rearranging the blades etc. one still wobbles.

We were very disapointed in this ceiling fan. The fans were very thin and of poor quality. This is a case where you get what you pay for. Did not look any where near as good as the photo. Would not recommend this product.

This fan is very quiet and smooth and a good size for an outdoor patio or gazebo. It appears to be well made and the light kit is designed properly to limit the intrusion of insects into the globe. The blades have some nice detail to them.

This product is beautifully crafted and easy to install. It works very well and it is fairly quiet.

The value and beauty of this outdoor ceiling fan is unsurpassed.
I saw similar fans for a lot more money. I even installed it myself! I'm totally sstisfied with this item and would recommend it to anyone.

I thought about buying a HUNTER, but decided for this one due its unique design. It is silent and easy to assembly/install.
It is not a "hurricane" type of fan but it is powerful enough to give you a nice breeze to sleep under (and, believe me, I know what I mean. I live in Salvador, Brazil - We have summer ALL YEAR 'ROUND!!!).

This ceiling fan is beautiful for my outdoor screened room and was described as having a yellow alabaster glass light, which it does not.!!! It is white..!!...This was one of the reasons that I ordered this particular ceiling fan/light kit. I am very disappointed..!! I did not know this until I opened the box to put it together for installation. It also did not have the downrod. Just wanted to pass this along for other concerned buyers. If anyone has experienced this also, please comment. I have always been pleased with all my purchases from Amazon until this purchase. I don't think I was sent the correct globe. Thanks

This fan is of great construction and is stunning to look at. We mounted it to an extended (2') downrod we purchased at Lowes, and the wires that came attached to the fan were plenty long enough. Installation was simple, and the fan performs wonderfully cooling our outdoor patio.

For the performance, style, and ease of installation, this fan is completely and totally worth the price!

We priced out several ceiling fans for my daughter's new room. This was the best price on this style fan, by far. The product is quiet and looks great. I would definitely recommend the Westinghouse brand!
